About

Tim graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008 and completed his paediatric training at The Royal Children’s Hospital, where he undertook advanced subspecialty training in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology. In 2024, he was awarded his PhD through the University of Melbourne, with research focused on improving the diagnosis of peanut and tree nut allergy.

Tim has been practising as an allergist at MACCS since 2019, providing specialist care to children and families across a broad spectrum of allergic and immunological conditions.

In addition to his clinical work, Tim is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute and serves as the Program Medical Lead for the ADAPT Oral Immunotherapy Program through the National Allergy Centre of Excellence, reflecting his strong commitment to advancing allergy treatment and research.

His clinical interests include food allergy and food oral immunotherapy; childhood eczema; hay fever and environmental allergies; asthma; and drug and insect allergy. He is dedicated to achieving meaningful, long-term outcomes for his patients and values working in close partnership with children and their families to deliver personalised, evidence-based care.

Tim is an active member of the Australian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA), the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).

Outside of medicine, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is passionate about fitness and regularly competes in marathons and other endurance running events.
