About
Sing-Jill is a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric allergic conditions such as anaphylaxis, food allergies, eczema, allergic rhinitis (hayfever) and asthma.
After graduating from The University of Melbourne in 2002, she specialised in the field of General Paediatrics through the Royal Children’s Hospital, with further advance training in the areas of Allergy, Neonates and Community Child Health. Having completed the “Paediatricians with A Special Interest in Allergy Program” run by the Department of Allergy and Immunology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Sing-Jill currently consults at the Allergy clinics at the Royal Children’s Hospital and is a member of Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA). Sing-Jill also has appointments as Consultant Paediatrician at Mitcham Private Hospital and Eastern Health.
Passionate in the broader and non-clinical aspect of health, Sing-Jill completed a Master of Public Health degree through the University of Melbourne and is a Teaching Associate (Paediatrics) and Examiner of Monash University teaching medical students from both Monash and Deakin universities.
Sing-Jill speaks fluent Chinese (Mandarin) and practises family-centred care. She believes in empowering parents through education and advocating for the child’s best interest. Outside of work, as a mother of two young children, Sing-Jill enjoys the simple things in life such as playing at the park and sleep.
